ICON Park Orlando

There are 3 Orlando Attractions on International Drive that you need to check out! Experience a bird’s eye view of Orlando and the surrounding areas when you load up in the air condition capsules of The Wheel. Get a great selfie with true-to-life wax sculptures of historical figures and celebrities at Madame Tussauds Orlando. And, take a trip under the sea and experience over 5,000 species of ocean life at the all new Sea Life Orlando! All three will provide you with an amazing experience, so you definitely do not want to miss out on a visit to all of the sites.

The Wheel at ICON Park

Next stop on our trip is a visit to the brand spanking new attraction, The Wheel at ICON Park. The Wheel is a gigantic 400 foot wheel that has 30 capsules attached to it. Each capsule is air conditioned and can hold up to 15 people at a time, as the wheel goes around. From these observation capsules, visitors will be able to gaze upon Orlando and the surrounding areas. When you reach the apex of The Wheel’s revolution, you can see famous sites in the Orlando area, like the skyline of Orlando, catch a glimpse of famous Cape Canaveral to the east, the beautiful “old Florida” landscapes and you could even catch a glimpse of the various Orlando theme parks. To get you familiarize with the area while you are up in the air, every capsule on the wheel has iPads available for you to virtually explore Orlando the city’s surroundings. The Wheel is a technical and engineering marvel that is a must visit while you are in Orlando!

SEA LIFE Orlando

Last on our trip around to three new Orlando attractions, but certainly not least, is Sea Life Orlando! Sea Life Orlando is a brand new aquarium attraction right on International Drive in Orlando. This is one amazing attraction that will get you up close and personal to some familiar and some exotic species of ocean life. Enter the 360 degree Ocean Tunnel and you will instantly be surrounded and submerged among some of the most unique and interesting sea life that you can see. Look up and you will see sharks swimming just inches from your fingers, witness various species of rays float by and learn what life is like for the creatures of the deep in their natural habitat. Sea Life Orlando has over 5,000 species of sea life to look at and learn about. If you want to learn more about some of the habitat and creatures that call the ocean their home, you can visit the Interactive “Talking Aquarium”. This is one amazing aquarium attraction that you do not want to miss out on while you are staying in the Orlando area, so be sure to plan a trip to Sea Life Orlando.

Madame Tussauds Orlando

As we take a tour of the new attractions in the Orlando area, first stop is Madame Tussauds Orlando. Tussaud started making wax sculptures in 1777. To help in the French Revolution, she would sculpt masks of executed citizens to fire up the rebels. The Madame Tussauds brand has its roots back in London, where the family opened up its first wax exhibit in 1835. Since then, the museum has branched out into many different countries around the world, locations such as Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, New York and now right here in Orlando. The museum is famous for it true-to-life wax likenesses for famous historical figures and celebrities, such as Taylor Swift, Neymar and even the Justice League! Come visit this unique museum while you are in Orlando and take pictures with some of your favorite personalities.
